Research and Innovation.

We’re conducting research today for the products and therapies of tomorrow

Especially in the field of complex and therapeutic medical devices, innovative solutions and careful research are necessary to provide the best possible care for patients with rare diseases.

Integrated therapies.

Research and development of medical devices is challenging in many areas. This is because it is not only necessary to ensure compatibility between the product and the active ingredient, but also to guarantee technical functionality and ease of use in patients’ daily lives. This requires experts from many highly specialized disciplines who work together to develop and implement these products. When it comes to shelf life, medical devices also present researchers with challenges that are quite different from those posed by, say, a tablet.

Research into new therapeutic approaches for rare and complex diseases requires ingenuity, passion, courage, and perseverance—especially when pursuing an integrated approach that combines drugs, medical devices, and patient services.

The Relevance of Clinical Trials.

Without research, there is no progress. This is especially true in the highly complex field of medical devices. Particularly when it comes to the rare disease PAH, patients and experts rely on interdisciplinary research teams that can expand and improve treatment options by addressing innovative research questions.
